Can you take a drawing, create a CMM program and prove the part is right? We want to hear from you.
Own day-to-day inspection of precision CNC turned and milled components. Initially you’ll work largely independently, with the opportunity to help shape the department and build a team around you.
THE WORK
- First-off, in-process and final inspection against drawings and GD&T.
- Create and safely prove out new CMM programs, set up parts and run existing programs.
- Use micrometers, verniers, bore/depth/height gauges and shadowgraphs.
- Own inspection priorities, traceable records and customer quality queries.
- Prepare FAIRs to customer requirements within an AS9100 quality environment.
- Perform internal calibration of standard hand tools, maintain records and coordinate specialist calibration.
- Resolve non-conformances and discuss corrective actions and concessions with production and customer QA teams.
WHAT YOU NEED
Practical CNC-machined component inspection; independent CMM programming and prove-out; confident drawing/GD&T interpretation; manual measurement, FAIR and calibration experience; and the ability to manage inspection with limited supervision.
MCOSMOS experience is desirable. Tell us which machines and software you have used.
You must currently be based in the UK and able to work on site in Wooburn Green, HP10 0PF. We cannot offer visa sponsorship.
