With 12 strategically located data centres and a dedicated team of over 300 professionals, we support 1000+ clients services across the UK with cloud, connectivity, and compute services. The Role: Reporting into the Director of Cyber Security, this role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Pulsant’s security infrastructure. Where Pulsant deliver out connected solutions, storing business critical data for our clients, the protection of our systems from Cyber-attacks is of heightened importance. The primary goal of this role is to lead on design and ensure that Pulsant’s information systems, networks, and data are protected from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Whilst this is advertised as a full time role, we’re open to discussions around other working patterns and flexible working requests. What You’ll Do: * Designing and maintaining security systems and architectures * Risk assessment and analysis * Creating security blueprints and guidelines * Implementing and integrating security solutions * Incident response and troubleshooting * Evaluating and selecting security products What We’re Looking For: * Substantial Cyber Security experience, with recent demonstrable experience leading on security architecture and building out blueprints * Deep technical expertise and knowledge – including things such as firewalls, encryption, VPNs, network security protocols, and cloud security * Experience and knowledge of best practice for protection of information assets * A strong communicator, able to explain security concepts to non-technical stakeholders * Experience in instant response Why join Pulsant: * Supportive work environment with a focus on career growth, development, work life balance and well-being. * A friendly, family-like atmosphere where almost half of employees have been with Pulsant for 5+ years * Benefits include hybrid working, pension, private healthcare, cycle to work scheme, free breakfast and snacks, Udemy license and more.
