The role:

Reporting to the CMO, the PR Manager will be joining a fast moving close knit marketing team of 7. As the sole PR specialist in the team, this person will own PR for Pulsant and will work closely with C Level executives to influence the profile of the brand across industry, national and local media, as well as leading industry analysts. The business is transforming and it’s an exciting time to be part of the team managing the public face of the brand and further establishing Pulsant as a digital infrastructure provider. We are establishing an analyst’s relations programme, working with key influencers in our market and building new relationships with local media in the cities and regions we serve to craft a new and compelling narrative for the business around edge computing, AI and IoT.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive exciting, innovative PR and social campaigns that elevate our brand and align with wider marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with our PR agency to create compelling content – including press releases company statements, media pitches, blog posts and bylined articles.
  • Grow both quality and quantity of share of voice, amongst earned and owned media. Expand media coverage to meet annual targets.
  • Track and optimise media impact, turning insights into stronger engagement.
  • Build and maintain network of media contacts focusing on technology markets, data centre specialist markets as well as national and local UK media.
  • Support the development of corporate initiatives, including ESG and sustainability.
  • Create and maintain thought leadership content programmes.
  • Build and maintain an industry analyst engagement programme
  • Oversee media and analyst relations training

What we’re looking for:

  • B2B Tech PR experience, with substantial experience building strong relationships with target UK media.
  • Data Centre / Digital infrastructure industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders (ideally C-level)
  • Experience of PR agency management, budgeting and reporting.
  • Experience running media training sessions for spokespeople and reporting on share of voice and outreach metrics
  • Experience running and owning an analyst outreach programme
