Senior new business development role. The New Business Manager role is a quota bearing role, responsible for proactively identifying, researching, qualifying and closing new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and digital channels in line with Pulsant’s Value Proposition. The role will be responsible for developing multiple senior relationships within prospective clients that generally sit within UK Service / Tech providers and enterprises. The role involves having a broad understanding of the markets within which your prospects operate, understanding both the challenges and opportunities that exist therein, finding and opening doors and creating linkage to the services Pulsant provides.
Key responsibilities:
- Review, understand and be able to articulate the Pulsant Value Proposition, by product and collectively as a whole relative to the prospect from a business value perspective.
- Develop a Sales Territory Assurance Plan to create a Territory to include: Prospective target accounts, Overall engagement strategy/approach, Influencer mapping/engagement relative to prospects within the Territory.
- Incorporation of MEDDPICC to qualify opportunities to pursue.
- Marketing alignment, through Account Based Marketing (ABM), to nurture prospective clients within your Territory.
- Propose additional potential targeted initiatives within your Territory to be presented for review/evaluation.
- Partnering and fostering relationships internally for proposal creation of new opportunities defining Pulsant’s Compelling, Of Value, and Differentiated offering.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for each prospective client opportunity at all times, linking to Outlook.
- Operate within the framework of Opportunity Governance.
- Attain Annual Order Value targets through new business acquisition.
