The New Business Manager role is a quota bearing role, responsible for proactively identifying, researching, qualifying and closing new business opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and digital channels in line with Pulsant's Value Proposition. The role will be responsible for developing multiple senior relationships within prospective clients that generally sit within the UK Service / Tech providers and enterprises. The role involves having a broad understanding of the markets within which your prospects operate, understanding both the challenges and opportunities that exist therein, finding and opening doors and creating linkage to the services Pulsant provides.
Key responsibilities:- Review, understand and be able to articulate the Pulsant Value Proposition, by product and collectively as a whole relative to the prospect from a business value perspective.
- Develop a Sales Territory Assurance Plan to create a Territory to include:
- Prospective target accounts
- Overall engagement strategy/approach
- Influencer mapping/engagement relative to prospects within the Territory.
The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a hunter role and has a strong track history of opening doors, generating and converting pipeline, to meet or exceed new business sales targets. Proven capability in enterprise and social selling, successfully engaging decision-makers and driving solution sales of colocation, cloud, or technology solutions. Strong influencing and relationship building skills.
