The Role: Further to an internal promotion, we have the opportunity for a Senior People Business Partner to join our team, reporting to the Chief People Officer. As part of a team committed to bringing our ‘People First’ value to life, you will play a key role in supporting transformational change across Pulsant, working with cutting edge tools (e.g. HiBob). Acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, you will shape and implement people-centric solutions that support our business objectives. You will work closely with leaders to enhance people engagement, workforce planning, talent development, and organisational effectiveness—helping to foster a culture of continuous growth and high performance. The role will require local and national travel.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with senior leadership to provide expert guidance and align People strategies with business goals.
- Drive initiatives that foster a strong and inclusive workplace culture.
- Lead organisational change management and transformation efforts.
- Offer insights on compensation, benefits, and performance management strategies.
- Oversee workplace relations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
- Support People Leaders in addressing complex people relations issues and performance challenges.
- Support leadership in fostering a high-performance work environment through providing training and coaching to People Leaders on people management skills and techniques.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and retain top talent.
- Utilise a strong understanding of current and future industry trends to identify relevant tools, suppliers, and initiatives to help achieve our People and organisational goals.
- Support wider People Team projects and initiatives that shall drive our People Team Agenda.
What We’re Looking For:
- Significant people business partnering experience, with strong knowledge of People best practices, employment law, and talent strategies.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior executives (including C-Level).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing organisational change and driving culture initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- IT or technology industry experience is desirable but not essential.
