Position Overview
We are looking for a Workshop Manager to lead and motivate a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, high quality service, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the flow of work through the workshop by effective labour resource planning
- Drive efficiency through the utilisation of efficient working practices
- Ensure the CitNow (EVHC) process is followed to maximise upsell opportunities
- Maintain high quality standards for service and repairs through efficient use of materials, equipment and labour
- Achieve required targets for first‑time fix
- Deliver a fantastic customer experience and retain existing customers through the workshop
- Consult and cooperate with after‑sales reception staff, Service Manager and Operations Manager to improve future labour levels
- Ensure all work complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry safety guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Vehicle mechanical background with strong organisational, customer handling and time‑management skills
- MOT testing certificate
- Experience with Volkswagen Group brands is desirable
- Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities
