The Pulman Group Marketing team is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced marketer to lead the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity across the Group. Reporting to and working with the Group Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in turning the Group’s wider marketing direction into effective activity across our brands and locations. The role combines planned campaigns with reactive requirements from our manufacturer partners and Pulman sites, while also identifying opportunities to improve how we market the business.
You will lead two Marketing Coordinators, managing their workflow and priorities while remaining hands-on and able to support delivery when required. You will keep the Group Marketing Manager and wider stakeholders updated on progress, help manage expectations and ensure activity is delivered accurately and on time. Our Marketing Coordinators are responsible for content creation across video, photography, graphics and copywriting. To manage workflow effectively, we need someone with strong practical experience across these areas who can brief, guide, challenge and quality-check their work.
We are looking for someone with at least five years' demonstrable marketing experience, together with experience of leading, motivating and organising marketing coordinators or support staff. You will need broad marketing experience and be comfortable working across the full marketing mix, including digital, websites, email, content, PR, events and campaign reporting. Just as importantly, we want someone who will bring their own ideas, identify areas for improvement and spot opportunities to strengthen our marketing performance.
Pulman is a family-owned business, so we are looking for someone approachable, dependable and willing to get involved, while also being confident enough to take ownership and provide direction to others.

- Coordinate campaigns across multiple brands, locations and channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing activity, processes, content and overall effectiveness.

- Use performance insight to recommend improvements and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain brand standards, advertising accuracy and FCA compliance.
- Proofread and quality-check marketing material before publication.
