We are looking for a FUN, PASSIONATE & DYNAMIC Rooms Division Manager who wants to join our FANTASTIC MANAGEMENT TEAM at a VIBRANT central London Hotel. The hotel comprises of 312 bedrooms and 17 meeting rooms including the renowned Shaw Theatre.
Operations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and administration
- Ensure consistent delivery of Premium service standards and brand expectations
- Proactively resolve guest concerns and ensure high guest satisfaction scores
- Conduct regular service audits, inspections, and quality control checks
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop department heads and teams within the Rooms Division
- Foster a culture of service excellence, service experience, professionalism, and accountability
- Manage staffing levels, scheduling, performance reviews, and succession planning
- Ensure training programs align with luxury hospitality standards
Financial & Revenue Performance
- Optimize room occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR in collaboration with Revenue Management
- Control departmental budgets, payroll, and operating expenses
- Analyze performance reports and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Monitor inventory management and room availability to maximize revenue
Standards, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and local regulations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and maintenance
- Coordinate with Engineering and Security to ensure guest and staff safety
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Revenue teams
- Participate in strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Support VIP arrivals, special events, and high-profile guests
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Rooms Division operations, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
- Experience in a luxury or premium hotel environment strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of PMS systems and revenue management principles
- Management of refurbishments advantageous
