Are you a HGV Technician/Mechanic looking for a new exciting role in a growing and expanding business? We are looking for a HGV/Trailer Technician to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of trailers for DHL.
Salary and Benefits
OTE £50,000+ (OTE based on total average earnings of Technicians in the garage over a 3 month period)
Salary Up to £25ph DOE
Joining Bonus £2,000 (joining bonus) | All shift patterns considered, we are flexible – minimum 40.25 hours
Overtime available paid at £28.58

Responsibilities
- Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trailers
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis, repair and installation
- Overhaul electrical equipment and components
- Setting and operating of machine tools and equipment
- Welding and metalworking
- Department of Transport (MOT) testing preparation
- Parts ordering and stores management
- Support team members including Apprentice Technicians as required
- Accurately record time and detail of completed jobs
- Carry out inspection and repair of workshop equipment as directed
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent or proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
