As our Junior Product Designer & Content Creator, you will support the Product Development and Design teams by researching trends, creating new design concepts and producing engaging content for our brand and products. You will play an important role in helping to enrich product content, generate fresh ideas for future product ranges, supporting the design team with creative projects and ensuring our social media channels remain active and engaging. This role will be based full time in our office in Poole working Monday to Friday, 8:50am to 5:00pm.

Duties

  • Maintaining awareness of current design, colour and lifestyle trends and sharing insights with the wider team.
  • Reviewing industry trends across stationery, lifestyle, gifting and retail sectors.
  • Creating design concepts to support product development projects.
  • Producing original graphics, illustrations and artwork using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Supporting the design team with artwork creation, amendments and general creative projects.
  • Presenting new design ideas on a regular basis.
  • Assisting with the preparation of customer presentations and product development proposals.
  • Creating engaging content for social media platforms including Eurostaffs, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Photographing and filming products for use across social media and marketing materials.
  • Supporting customer marketing requests with creative assets and product imagery.

Qualifications

  • A qualification in Graphic Design, Product Design, Illustration or a related creative discipline.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.
  • A creative eye for design, colour, typography and layout.
  • Passion for following the latest trends, colours, patterns and lifestyle influences.
  • An interest in social media content creation and digital storytelling.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Good time management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
