We are looking for a Senior Quality Inspector to join our Christchurch, Dorset team!

As a Senior Quality Inspector, working within a small quality team, you will be undertaking the quality inspection of manufactured goods ensuring they are built to customer specifications, industry standards and regulations.

  • Carrying out inspections of materials, parts and finished build inspections.
  • Performing routine inspections and checking for defects in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
  • Using measuring equipment including CMMs, Vici Vision, Keyence to measure to a high level of accuracy and precision.
  • Producing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), internally and externally.
  • Liaising with customers and the supply chain on any issues and working to solve them.
  • Support and help manage workloads for production needs, engineering needs and various investigations including MSA & Statistical Analysis studies and complying of SPC data to improve supplier quality.

What You Bring

  • Experience in a quality role within an engineering / manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding of quality assurance and ISO 9001 / AS9100.
  • Working knowledge of CMMs, Vici Vision, Keyence and other handheld inspection equipment.
  • Competent use of PC.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to read and understand technical engineering drawings.
