Overview

Based in the Central London Head Office this role, reporting to the Head of Store Development & Visual Merchandising, is to manage and coordinate all aspects of Puig UK\’s visual implementation for key brands in accordance with global brand guidelines, having direct responsibility for temporary POS development and execution in own stores and wholesale doors. Brands include Penhaligon\’s, Dr Barbara Sturm and Kama Ayurveda.

Responsibilities

  • Development, production and implementation of windows, temporary sites, and pop ups in accordance with global brand guidelines, liaising with local suppliers and HQ.
  • Ensure timely sign off from HQ and retailers for VM activations.
  • Create clear briefs for the local team considering all local requirements and customer experience.
  • Briefing, production and roll out of temporary promotional support tools within allocated budget for own stores and all retailers including flagship doors.
  • Align with all local stakeholders and relevant departments on launch activations in line with the marketing calendar and priorities.
  • Main point of contact & comms between Global VM Team and local stakeholders.
  • Manage production of all visual requests and roll outs for new launches/updates liaising with printers to ensure quality process is optimised.
  • Develop and establish a good working relationship with HQ teams.
  • Budget ownership and management including raising POs for projects.
  • Review Visual Merchandising practices and conduct competitive research to ensure innovation, effectiveness and profitability of temporary UK VM activities.
  • Project Management of bespoke displays/activities for Puig UK events including brand showrooms and retailer conferences. This involves creating a brief where required, managing production of elements and working closely on the direction with the Training team.
  • Develop bespoke POS and sites where required.
  • Source and review suppliers to ensure capabilities meet requirements.
  • Effectively manage brand artwork files – ordering of imagery from HQ and ensuring updates are communicated to all relevant parties.
  • Maintain Retail Excellence in all doors and ensure stores and permanent spaces are updated with new launch visuals and POS.
  • Produce and develop Visual Merchandising Standards and guidelines to ensure consistent visual directives / updates are communicated across UK business.
  • Effectively manage usage of POS items.
  • Work with the Retail Ops, Area Managers and Brand Ambassadors in store to ensure VM guidelines are being correctly implemented in stores.
  • Maintain database of all planned and implemented In Store activities and report feedback on implementations to Puig HQ.
  • Present new VM initiatives / updated guidelines to UK teams where necessary.
  • Attend key installations for new launches or pop-up sites as required.

What you’ll need

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package
  • Competent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign – essential)
  • Sketch Up (desirable)
  • Project management
  • Presentation and organisation skills
  • Knowledge of retail trends – interest and passion for visual merchandising
  • Proven experience in a similar Head Office Visual Merchandiser role within the luxury or beauty industry ideal.
  • Project management experience with POS and / or window production ideal
