The Opportunity

We have an exciting role as an Assistant Store Manager to join our King's Road team. The working schedule is based on full time schedule working 5 days per week (37.5hrs), Monday - Sunday inclusive. An Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for assisting the team, with the ability to assume the store management responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and goals, building highly motivated teams, and developing Fragrance Consultants to the next level.

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on all aspects of running the store, assuming the Store Manager duties in their absence.
  • Meet sales goals, analyse available sales reports and data to determine the needs of the business and set business strategies.
  • Continuously motivate sales team members to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Support the development of Fragrance Consultants techniques, ensuring utilisation of fragrance profiling to maximise sales, and ensure selling team members are fluent in all aspects of product knowledge.
  • Demonstrate sales leadership for team members by playing an active role on the selling floor.
  • Assist in the management of the client database and utilise information to increase sales and client contact.
  • Manage all special events inclusive of collection previews, client events, sale events and centre events.
  • Empower Fragrance Consultants to make decisions in the customer's best interest that also support the Company's philosophy.
  • Assist in maintaining staffing levels and work schedules to ensure appropriate floor coverage while controlling payroll costs.

  • Experience in a retail environment, with proven results driving sales targets in a customer-centric business.
  • Line management experience, able to inspire teams and develop their careers within the business.
  • Confident in leading and participating in HR conversations and skilled at recruiting strong teams and delivering a great candidate experience.
  • Great understanding of KPIs and passionate about driving business plans to help the team achieve results.
  • Experience with Clientelling and developing relationships within the local community to drive Brand awareness and events.
