We are looking for an experienced Senior 3D / Visual Merchandising Designer to join Puig’s Global Architecture & Visual Merchandising team in London, supporting Kama Ayurveda. The role will help drive the creative development of Kama Ayurveda’s 3D and Visual Merchandising output across campaigns, windows, in‑store animations, pop‑ups, branded displays, POS materials and global merchandising standards. The focus is on creating distinctive, creative and production‑ready VM design solutions that translate Kama Ayurveda’s brand identity, product portfolio, marketing priorities and wellness/skincare category codes into clear, elevated and executable design proposals.

Reporting to the Head of 3D Design, and working closely with the Director of Architecture & Visual Merchandising, this role requires a confident and independent designer who can manage their own workload, develop creative ideas with limited day‑to‑day supervision, communicate design rationale clearly, and partner effectively with Marketing, Retail, Trade, Education, Project Management, suppliers and senior stakeholders. This is a fixed‑term maternity cover contract for up to 12 months.

What you'll get to do:

  • Drive the creative development of Kama Ayurveda’s VM and 3D design output across campaigns, windows, in‑store animations, pop‑ups, POS display materials and VM standards.
  • Act as the key day‑to‑day VM design contact for Kama Ayurveda, working under the direction of the Head of 3D Design and in close partnership with the Director of Architecture & Visual Merchandising.
  • Interpret, challenge and clarify briefs to ensure design solutions are focused, relevant and achievable.
  • Develop creative concepts and 3D visualisations from initial idea through to presentation‑ready proposals.
  • Translate selected concepts into detailed 3D design proposals suitable for global rollout across varied retail and wholesale environments.
  • Create clear global campaign merchandising guidelines, VM standards and simple technical drawing packs.
  • Prepare supplier briefing documents and support prototyping with the Project Management team.
  • Review samples, materials, finishes and prototypes to ensure executional accuracy and alignment with the approved design intent.
  • Present and defend design recommendations to senior stakeholders, balancing creative ambition with feasibility, cost, timelines and commercial priorities.
  • Plan, prioritise and drive your own workload independently, keeping projects moving without close day‑to‑day supervision.
  • Build strong working relationships across Marketing, Retail, Trade, Education, Project Management and senior leadership.
  • Bring relevant insight from VM, wellness, skincare, luxury retail, materials and consumer experience trends into the Kama Ayurveda brand.

We'd love to meet you if you have:

  • Significant experience in 3D design, visual merchandising, branded display design or retail campaign environments, ideally within beauty, wellness, skincare, luxury or premium consumer brands.
  • Experience working with wellness or skincare brands, or a strong understanding of category dynamics, customer rituals and product storytelling.
  • A strong portfolio showing high‑quality 3D displays, VM concepts, campaign rollouts, pop‑ups, POS materials and branded retail displays.
  • Evidence of taking projects from concept through to technical development, supplier briefing, prototyping or implementation.
  • The confidence and seniority to present design rationale clearly, influence stakeholders and defend creative recommendations.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, structure your own workload and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of SketchUp, with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator required for presentations, guidelines and document layouts.
  • Familiarity with Layout and V-Ray would be advantageous.
  • Strong technical drawing skills and a sound understanding of materials, finishes, production processes and retail feasibility.
  • A high level of creativity, with the ability to originate ideas and develop them into practical, production‑ready solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with a clear, collaborative and solutions‑oriented approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and sensitivity to luxury, premium and wellness brand codes.
  • The ability to become the trusted go‑to person for Kama Ayurveda VM design.

A few things you'll love about us:

  • An entrepreneurial, creative and welcoming work culture.
  • A range of learning and development opportunities.
  • An international company with plenty of opportunities to grow.
  • A competitive compensation & benefits package.
