Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join our UK Market HR team. This role provides a high-quality generalist HR service to our managers and team members in the UK. You will provide professional advice and support on a wide range of HR issues including employee relations, performance management, recruitment and HR policy. This role requires hands on delivery to support business objectives and foster a workplace that creates the very best people experience as an employer of choice.
What you\’ll get to do
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships with stakeholders through regular engagement across head office and stores; Collaborate to ensure consistent processes and a positive team member experience
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Support Talent Acquisition with shortlisting and recruitment across retail roles; Attend careers fairs and assessment centres; Contribute to onboarding programmes to ensure a smooth start for new hires
- Employee Relations: Advise managers on ER matters including absence, performance, and flexible working; Manage ER cases and maintain compliance with current legislation; Track ER data to identify trends and drive proactive solutions
- Learning & Development: Identify training needs and support L&D initiatives; Deliver HR fundamentals training to line managers
- Performance Management: Monitor probation periods and support underperformance management; Guide managers through objective setting, feedback, and career development
- Team Member Engagement: Champion wellbeing initiatives and respond to concerns promptly; Promote company values and culture through active recognition
- HR Policy & Compliance: Maintain and update HR Hub content; Support rollout of new policies and ensure mandatory training completion
- Data & Reporting: Review exit interviews and absence data to inform retention strategies; Maintain accurate and GDPR-compliant records
- Payroll & Admin: Respond to HR queries and liaise with Payroll and Benefits teams; Ensure timely generation of documentation for onboarding and exits
- HR Projects: Contribute to DEIB, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives; Collaborate on market-wide HR projects and support ad hoc activities
What we’re looking for
- HR experience in a similar industry; CIPD qualified or working towards
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and employment law
- Proven ER case management and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and adaptable in fast-paced settings
- Influential communicator with a service-driven mindset
