Reporting directly to the UK Finance Director, this role will oversee all Finance, Planning, and Reporting activities for the dedicated Puig Business Retail Units in the UK and Ireland. In this role, you will shape the strategic vision for these markets and act as a key business partner to the Commercial, Marketing, and Retail teams — fostering agility, promoting a collaborative, non-silo culture, and driving cross-functional cooperation to deliver business performance.

What you'll get to do:

  • Liaise with the HQ Shared Service Centre to ensure timely and accurate execution of monthly and year-end closings, including all required validations.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of financial records in compliance with local legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage departmental purchase orders and oversee invoice coding and accrual management.
  • Analyse monthly P&L variances against budget and identify corrective actions where necessary.
  • Review and monitor fixed costs across the entity, partnering with functional leaders to identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports within company deadlines, including consolidated P&L, store and location-level P&L, Advertising & Promotional (A&P) spend, fixed costs, and key financial indicators.
  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative performance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of A&P investments to support effective resource allocation and ensure rigorous cost control.
  • Ensure strong internal financial controls across all operations in accordance with company guidelines and audit standards.
  • Support the Finance Director during internal and external audits as well as tax inspections.
  • Assist the Finance Director in safeguarding overall company profitability by monitoring P&L KPIs, analysing business performance, and ensuring timely communication with key stakeholders.
  • Lead the Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting processes for all P&L lines, ensuring accuracy, coherence, and timely submission through company reporting tools.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly reforecasting activities in collaboration with Brand Heads.
  • Conduct ongoing risk and opportunity assessments to support business agility and financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance, Management Accountant functions, preferably in either luxury goods or fast consumer goods (FMCG) industries.
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA).
  • Integrity, pro-activity, problem-solving skillset, team player.
  • Financial and Business acumen, reliable partner, challenger, autonomous.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Curiosity and high level of energy.
  • Advanced Excel user.
  • SAP knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge of Anaplan and Business Intelligence tools would be a plus.
