We have an exciting role as a Field Trainer to join our Dries Van Noten London team. The working schedule is based on full time schedule working 5 days per week (37.5hrs), Monday – Sunday inclusive.

In this role, you will deliver engaging product, service, and artistry training to our team members for our Prestige brands, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to provide the best possible customer experience. Acting as a role model on the sales floor, you will inspire and coach our teams to embody our brand values and deliver excellence in every interaction.

  • Act as a brand ambassador on the shop floor, demonstrating exceptional selling, customer service, and artistry skills.
  • Deliver regular coaching and training sessions on a variety of topics, with a strong focus on product knowledge, service excellence, and makeup artistry.
  • Observe service delivery in-store and at counters, providing immediate, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
  • Coordinate and deliver induction training for new joiners, following up with store managers and HR during the probationary period.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to ensure retail staff are fully prepared for new product launches.
  • Collaborate with store managers to identify individual strengths, development areas, and training needs for team members.
  • Take a proactive role in coaching and supporting staff to reach their full potential.
  • Ensure our values, principles, and commitment to diversity are embedded throughout all training delivery.
  • Support in-store events, brand activations, and seasonal launches to elevate the customer experience.
  • Contribute to building strong client relationships and encourage repeat business through effective Clienteling practices.
  • Achieve sales targets and collaborate with Store Managers/Business Managers and RRM’s to drive team performance, leading by example.
  • Increase sales revenue through upselling, cross-selling, service excellence, and monthly animations at POS.
  • Build brand awareness and loyalty while meeting or exceeding monthly targets.
  • Focus on increasing customer retention by building long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business through Clienteling and animations.
  • Support brand events when required, including PR and brand activations at both global and local levels.
  • Create and support “Looks” for new launches for Brand Ambassadors to wear during key animations for make-up specific brands.
  • Provide ongoing support after seasonal trainings through touchpoints, in-store follow-ups, product knowledge recaps, and addressing any training needs.

We'd love to meet you if you have:

  • Strong background in the luxury beauty, fragrance, or cosmetics industry.
  • Proven experience in retail, education, or training roles, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop in-store teams.
  • Professional makeup artistry skills, with the ability to demonstrate, teach, and inspire artistry techniques across skincare and makeup categories.
  • Ability to enhance skills in link selling, cross-selling, artistry, and fragrance storytelling.
  • Sales-focused mindset with a solid history of achieving targets and driving performance across stores or regions.
  • Experience delivering impactful training sessions both on-counter or classroom environments.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with confidence to lead by example and build trusted relationships.
  • Experience supporting events, activations, and launches to bring brand stories to life.
  • Confidence in using social media to support brand awareness, build professional presence, and engage beauty audiences.
  • Passion for Clienteling and building long-term customer loyalty.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work closely with the wide retail team to achieve regional goals.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and an inspiring team player.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
