The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Data Analyst to join us, based in London as part of our Commercial team. This role combines business analysis expertise with strong data and system capabilities to enhance organisational processes and support strategic objectives. Acting as the UK Market Data Champion, this role engages frequently with global teams to analyse existing systems and datasets, identify areas for improvement, and design and implement robust solutions. This role will serve as a key liaison between Commercial teams, Business Analytics, and IT functions, ensuring a smooth integration between systems, tools, and reporting environments. The role also oversees the analysis and optimisation of retail incentive schemes, ensuring commission and bonus programs are accurately monitored, well‑structured, and aligned with business priorities. Working cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, and Retail in order to deliver insights, reporting, and financial planning to support decision‑making and drive commercial performance.

What you'll get to do

  • Analyse business and system requirements by engaging stakeholders and assessing current processes and IT architecture.
  • Develop and propose new solutions or system enhancements, assessing both technical feasibility and business impact.
  • Serve as the intermediary between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring solutions meet functional needs and technical standards.
  • Coordinate implementation, testing, and quality assurance of new solutions, providing user support as needed.
  • Produce and maintain documentation for requirements, findings, and solution designs.
  • Safeguard data quality, consistency, and reliability across platforms.
  • Become the subject‑matter expert in key data sources including Power BI DTC, IRI, RSI.
  • Monitor, track, and ensure visibility of data flows to enable timely and accurate reporting.
  • Manage weekly sell‑out data received from retailers and integrate it into internal tools for reporting and analysis.
  • Work closely with the Business Analytics team to support producing accurate and impactful business insights.
  • Provide visibility on data to secure the Business Analytics team deliver valuable insights.
  • Calculate monthly commission and bonus payments in accordance with scheme rules and performance data.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Retail to design and refine incentive models that drive performance.
  • Maintain a calendar of incentive cycles, deadlines, and approval checkpoints.
  • Communicate scheme mechanics, updates, and results to Retail Leadership and HR stakeholders.
  • Oversee the monthly commission process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with KPIs and retailer agreements.
  • Support preparing and analyse weekly and monthly KPIs for Beauty Advisors and Brand Ambassadors operating in wholesale environments.
  • Provide month‑end provisions and accruals with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor performance versus forecast and explain variances to Finance and HR.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for scheme administration.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and GDPR standards.

  • Proven experience in data management and multiple data tools such as Power BI, SAP, Microsoft Applications.
  • Familiarity with financial planning, budgeting, and month‑end processes.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with HR, Finance, and Retail teams.
  • Understanding of payroll processes and compensation structures.
  • Desirable experience in incentive scheme analysis, preferably in a retail or sales‑driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
