The Opportunity... The Retail Operations Manager will provide points of sale with ongoing executional support for all operational controls that enhance the customer experience, maximise efficiencies and drive profitability. This role will drive operational excellence and retail efficiency, ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining high standards of compliance, safety, and performance. The role focuses on enhancing store operations, technology adoption, and team collaboration to deliver measurable improvements in store services, loss prevention, and overall retail performance.
- Drive operational excellence and consistency across the UK retail estate.
- Own store services and systems (including xStore POS), ensuring seamless execution and rapid issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies, health and safety, security, and loss prevention standards.
- Partner with Retail and Global Operations teams to roll out initiatives, improve efficiency, and embed best practices.
- Lead the implementation of new programmes, technologies, and store launches with minimal impact on daily operations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance store performance, customer experience, and cost efficiency.

- Experience in an operations role within the retail sector, preferably across multiple sites.
- Proven ability to implement strategies to improve efficiency and retail performance.
- Experience in managing rollouts of new technologies, policies, and initiatives across multiple locations.
- Familiarity with retail technologies such as POS systems (e.g., xStore POS), Gravotech, ScentAir, and other operational tools.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, trading standards, and other retail compliance requirements.
- Ability to analyse data, identify inefficiencies, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with cross‑functional teams and fostering collaboration between global and local operations.
- Ability to guide and support teams, particularly field teams, in implementing best practices and achieving sales goals.
- Strong focus on ensuring operational changes benefit customer experience and satisfaction.
