Where you’ll work: Remote (Anywhere in the world)

Role Overview

We’re seeking an AI-first UX/UI Designer who understands how generative AI integrates into e-commerce design workflows — and brings both the technical fluency and creative judgment to make it drive real business outcomes. You’ll embed an AI-first methodology into daily design execution, using advanced generative AI tools to design exceptional user experiences that accelerate creative output and drive customer conversion. You’ll research, test, and integrate new AI design tools to keep our creative process at the industry's cutting edge.

The Career Accelerator

You’ll compress years of AI-native design mastery into months. You’ll ship more high-impact design experiments in your first year than most UX/UI designers ship in three. You’ll design systems that touch every customer touchpoint—product pages, checkout flows, conversational commerce, personalization modules—building execution instincts through sheer volume that takes others years to develop. This pace energizes impatient high-performers. It exhausts clock-watchers. If you get frustrated when you’re not learning fast enough, you’ll thrive here.

What is in it for you

This isn’t just another UX/UI design role. This is your chance to become a true industry architect.

  • Master the Frontier of AI-Native Design: Most designers dabble with AI tools. You’ll become fluent in the entire GenAI design stack—Figma AI, Nano Banana, Vertex AI, Midjourney—and use them in production workflows daily. You’ll design interfaces that most designers won’t touch for years: semantic search results, conversational shopping assistants, AI-powered recommendation modules. You’ll research and champion emerging tools, keeping our practice at the industry's cutting edge.
  • Partner with the 1%: Top 5 Mattress Brand in the USA with Over $1 Billion USD in Sales. Work with Forbes Council Member CEO. Gain firsthand exposure to strategic decisions and high-velocity execution that drives a global brand.
  • Own Real Impact with Direct Business Accountability: Most UX/UI roles give you design tasks disconnected from outcomes. Here, your work is tied directly to conversion metrics, A/B test results, and revenue impact. You’ll see how your detail page redesign lifted conversion, how your checkout flow reduced abandonment. You’ll collaborate with Growth and Engineering teams to execute experiments and translate data-driven insights into tangible design improvements. Your portfolio won’t just show pretty screens—it’ll show business results.

What You’ll Need

  • 3-5 years of experience in web design: Preferably from an e-commerce background.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing shipped product work: With a clear connection to business metrics (e.g., conversion lift, improved engagement) on detail pages, listing pages, or checkout flows.
  • Expert Figma proficiency: Including components, variables, and Dev Mode.
  • Hands-on experience with modern GenAI design tools: (e.g., Figma AI, Nano Banana, Vertex AI, Midjourney etc.) in a professional workflow, with a portfolio demonstrating your ability to guide them to brand-aligned outcomes.
  • A demonstrable passion for the AI space: With a proven ability to quickly learn, evaluate, and integrate new technologies and tools into your design process.
  • Familiarity with emerging UX patterns for AI: Such as conversational search, assistant UIs, and recommendation modules.
  • Excellent communication skills: With an ability to articulate design rationale and present research on new tools clearly.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience designing chat or guided-selling flows.
  • Comfort collaborating on experiments (A/B testing, multivariate) and understanding their purpose.
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and foundational SEO principles for e-commerce.

Benefits include:

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + Public holidays.
  • AI First organization with access to AI-native tool stack.
