Overview
AI-First UI/UX Design Manager (Relocate to Dubai to build an AI-native global brand) at Puffy. Based in our Dubai headquarters, you will lead the design function, report to the CEO, and own the e-commerce web design. This role is a strategic partner tasked with revolutionizing our design process and customer experience through the integration of artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Architect an AI-first design practice: deploy AI-powered tools (e.g., Figma AI, Adobe Firefly, LLM systems) and reduce design-to-deployment time; create conversion-focused e-commerce experiences and personalization patterns that set new industry standards.
- Transform operations and lead with velocity: evolve the design team to agile workflows, mentor designers to become AI-native practitioners, ensure brand consistency, and own the complete customer journey from Home to Checkout.
- Drive revenue through experimentation: execute a CRO roadmap with A/B testing and multi-armed bandits; collaborate with Marketing and Analytics to implement AI-shaped UX patterns that impact revenue.
- Translate vision into business impact: communicate design decisions to the CEO and cross-functional leaders with data-backed arguments to secure buy-in.

Requirements
- 7–10 years in web design for e-commerce, including 4+ years in leading, mentoring, and managing a design team.
- A portfolio showing shipped PDP/PLP/Checkout improvements tied to clear business metrics.
- Expert in Figma (components, variables, Dev Mode); strong visual/motion craft and responsive design sensibility.
- Proven experience implementing GenAI tools into a professional design pipeline, with understanding of prompt engineering, quality control, and brand governance.
- Familiarity with AI-shaped UX patterns (conversational search, assistant UI, recommendation modules) and their measurement.
- Comfort collaborating on experiments (A/B vs multi-armed bandits) with Growth and understanding of trade-offs between optimization speed and causal certainty.
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and SEO fundamentals for structured content and schema on e-commerce sites.
