Come teach at our brand new Sixth Form College opening in Pudsey, Leeds! We are looking for an A Level Lecturer - Geography to join us at Pudsey Sixth Form College. We seek enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning and can inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.

There may be scope for this role to be classified as a T4 Curriculum and Quality Specialist Teacher – this will be discussed with candidates at interview. Our A Level Lecturer salary band is £29,638 to £37,525 and our T4 salary band is £37,525 to £40,993.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reflect on what works best in teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Plan, prepare and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, teaching and learning resources including the development of online learning resources for identified modules.
  • Deliver inspiring sessions across the curriculum using a wide range of teaching methods for identified modules.

Requirements:

  • You will be either a qualified or a newly qualified teacher.
  • You will have experience and demonstrable success teaching students up to Level 3.
  • You will hold a relevant teaching qualification.
  • You have success in positively managing student progression, advice and guidance in a school or Further Education setting.
  • You have a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
  • You have experience developing creative learning materials for groups of learners.
