An established family-owned technical services business that delivers heating, insulation, and renewable solutions across Wales is currently seeking to recruit an Air Source Heat Pump Engineer to join their team.
The Role:
- You will work on domestic and light commercial air source heat pump systems, ensuring installs are correctly commissioned, optimised, and performing as designed.
- This is a technical, hands-on role focused on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and set up of ASHP systems
- System flushing, filling, dosing, balancing, and performance checks
- Technical fault finding and performance optimisation
- Supporting installation engineers on site and remotely
- Liaising with manufacturers and completing commissioning documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of heating systems and hydraulics
- Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to high quality and compliance standards
Desirable:
- ASHP experience and manufacturer training
- F-Gas, NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating, 18th Edition, Unvented (G3)
