Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
- Liaise with HRMC, dealing with recurring associated VAT, Corporate, Personal and Business tax compliance
- Liaising with clients and handling queries in a professional manner.
- Supporting junior staff and reviewing work where appropriate.
- Cover payroll department when required ( training with be provided)
- Minimum 23 years\' experience within UK accountancy practice.
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified is preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and UK tax.
- Experience using software such as QuickBooks, Intuit, Dext
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
