A fast growing practice based in Llandeilo serving a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors who values client relationships, staff development, and a collaborative working environment is looking for a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone part-qualified or qualified looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic firm who have been in existence for over 50 years

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Liaise with HRMC, dealing with recurring associated VAT, Corporate, Personal and Business tax compliance
  • Liaising with clients and handling queries in a professional manner.
  • Supporting junior staff and reviewing work where appropriate.
  • Cover payroll department when required ( training with be provided)

Requirements

  • Minimum 23 years\’ experience within UK accountancy practice.
  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified is preferred but equivalent experience is acceptable.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and UK tax.
  • Experience using software such as QuickBooks, Intuit, Dext
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
