Student Engagement and Recruitment Officer
Location: London
Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £25,870 up to £35,758 per annum (dependent upon experience) plus up to 10% discretionary bonus, London Allowance, with potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

Overview
We are recruiting two London-based Student Engagement and Recruitment Officers to undertake student recruitment activity across the Northwest and Southwest regions, creating and developing networks and sales channels to deliver recruitment targets for your region. You will work with the Senior Student Engagement and Recruitment Manager to contribute to recruitment plans for your region, deliver regional strategies, drive performance to secure existing and new markets, and provide annual projections and recommendations for improvements. This is a sales-focused role, representing Coventry University Group locally at exhibitions, career conventions, schools and colleges to achieve annual recruitment targets, while developing links with educational institutions and other organisations. The role requires regular travel within your designated region and a working pattern of five days over seven, including evenings and weekends as required.
Responsibilities
- Undertake student recruitment activity across defined regions to meet recruitment targets.
- Develop networks and sales channels to support regional recruitment plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues across recruitment, conversion, and admissions teams.
- Represent Coventry University Group at exhibitions, career conventions, schools and colleges to promote recruitment targets.
- Develop and extend links with educational institutions and other applicable organisations.
- Travel within the designated region to maximise sales opportunities.
Our Successful Candidate
- Results-focused, target-driven with experience in sales and developing medium- to long-term markets and pipelines.
- Experience in a target-based commercial/educational sales role selling high-value and complex services to a variety of customers.
- Outstanding persuasion and influencing skills (oral, written and presentation) with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence at senior levels.
- Strong organisational, planning, change and project management skills; willingness to travel and a flexible approach to work.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
