The Role
OnFife have a great opportunity for a part-time Library Assistant to join the team within the Rothes Halls Library. The post is for 24 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Should a shift be required on a weekend you will be paid an unsocial hours’ enhancement. You will be based at Rothes Halls but may be required to cover elsewhere on occasion.
You’ll provide a friendly, efficient, and effective first point of contact for OnFife customers and visitors within a library environment. This includes providing advice, information, logging requests for services and taking payments. You will help with the delivery of OnFife services and contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation.
About You
OnFife are looking for someone who puts the customer first, strives to provide an excellent experience to customers and visitors and who has a can-do attitude. You should demonstrate a positive attitude to work, change and be able to work independently, as well as part of a team. Flexibility may be required on occasion to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the community.
Salary: £24,890 – £27,087 per annum, pro-rata
Hours: 24 hours per week: Mondays & Tuesdays 10am – 4.30pm, Wednesdays 9.30am – 2.30pm and Thursdays 11am – 7pm
