Who Fingerprint Editions are

Fingerprint Editions is a new independent small press which publishes women writers who make a mark in their lives and their works. Writers who leave a trace within their readers. Inspired by Virginia Woolf and the Hogarth Press, they publish both their own work and the work of others who share their commitment to creative freedom.

Based in Scotland, their co-founders are women writers who live in Edinburgh and West Wales.

Fingerprint Editions publish fiction, non-fiction, and poetry and are agnostic on length, form and genre while caring deeply about quality, diversity and relevance. They believe those who write from the margins, out of step with trend and who defy classification, have most to share. Hence, the covers of their books are red: the colour of vibrancy, danger and courage. They publish both contemporary works as well as reprints.

Fingerprint Editions plan to publish at least six books a year beginning in Summer 2025.

Fingerprint Editions need a strong social media presence which converts into a building a loyal and cherished subscriber community in Club Lit on their website.

Whilst they have good ideas on campaigns for their company, publications and authors, Fingerprint Editions need someone who can bring contribute a fresh perspective with clear skills in developing effective social media content which builds their brand and subscriber community.

As a data-driven company, they need someone who monitors analytics and presents the evidence for strategies which are most successful in engaging and retaining subscribers as well as maximising sales.
