Samsung is one of the world’s most loved brands. It was recently number two in the UK beating Coke and John Lewis. Their annual UK media spend is over c£150 million across all media channels. Samsung is an extremely fast-paced client and there is a genuine client expectation for brilliant and innovative media thinking. They are a huge dynamic organisation and a leader in the Tech industry, pushing the boundaries and connecting consumers on another level. They like to think of Starcom as a business partner, not just an agency, we have a very close relationship with their internal media and marketing teams. Overview

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Planning Senior Executive to join our award-winning Samsung team at Starcom. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping brand and upper funnel media planning across Wearables, Hearables, and Domestic Appliances. This is an opportunity to work with one of the UK’s biggest and most ambitious advertisers in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

Campaign Planning & Strategy:
Support multi-channel planning across Samsung’s Wearables, Hearables, and Domestic Appliances. Use tools like TGI and AdIntel to inform insight-led media strategies.

Project & Campaign Management:
Coordinate day-to-day campaign activity, from timelines to deliverables. Lead on reporting, post-campaign reviews, and competitor analysis.

Operational Excellence:
Manage budgets, POs, and client processes to ensure smooth campaign delivery. Monitor performance and support the team in delivering high-quality output.

Collaboration & Team Development
Build strong client and internal relationships. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, proactive team culture.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in brand or upper funnel media planning, ideally within a multi-channel context.

  • Base-level understanding of the paid media landscape and how media channels complement each other.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work at pace, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to change.

  • Familiarity with key planning tools (TGI, AdIntel, Telmar) is a plus.

  • Collaborative and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • A self-starter who’s curious, engaged, and eager to contribute to team culture and agency reputation.
