We are seeking an experienced Global Commercial & Compliance Senior Director to lead our compliance unit within Publicis Media. This role is crucial in ensuring our operations align with global client contracts, managing financial audits, and enhancing client reporting quality. You will play a key role in safeguarding both our revenue and reputation.
Responsibilities
- Contract Assurance: Ensure clear understanding and communication of contract terms. Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to summarise contracts in a standard format. Coordinate with client leads and finance to ensure obligations and risks are understood.
- Audit Liaison: Serve as the central contact for client audits to ensure a consistent approach. Work with operations to establish standard NDAs with audit firms. Build an audit repository to document findings and precedents.
- Reporting: Oversee compliance with client contract reporting. Enhance reporting efficiency through advanced Excel skills and potential automation. Migrate current reporting to updated platforms.
Qualifications Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in a media agency at a senior level within compliance, finance, audit, or related roles.
- Strong background in contract management and compliance audits.
- Proven experience with financial risk management and legal contract requirements.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced Excel skills required; familiarity with macros and automation is a plus.
- Ability to work with international teams and manage external audit relations.
- Team management experience, able to lead a small team effectively.
