Overview
We have identified a unique role for a Production Planner who will work seamlessly in collaboration with the Production Client Lead and the EMEA Head of Production. The Production Planner will plan and develop omni‑channel content/assets on a variety of brands for Mars across various markets. They are the entry point of contact for the Brand leads and will service multiple brands. Assigned by category/brand they improve integration across teams and accelerate an integrated consumer journey experience for Publicis Production. Working hand‑in‑hand with the client, EMEA Regional Client Lead, the rest of the service layer and the Ops team to support our clients across all EMEA‑based brands, delivering on their creative production needs. The Planner needs critical knowledge of the production process and must handle multiple briefs, from simple shoots to full campaign asset development across markets. They must work upstream with EMEA‑based creative agencies, brand design teams and internal/external stakeholders, supporting creative development with data insights ensuring content aligns with learnings and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the successful completion of each regionally assigned project.
- Act as client’s subject matter expert, assisting with queries and advising efficient production delivery to the highest quality and KPIs.
- Work directly with Publicis and production partners for seamless delivery of regional market production requirements and project objectives, timelines and budgets, contributing to KPI performance.
- Coordinate across Publicis, creative agencies, production and post‑production teams to ensure seamless development and on‑time delivery of assets across brands and markets.
- Lead the production financials – accurate estimating, billing, reconciling, PO creation, and client notification of additional charges/overages; manage budgets for multi‑market campaigns.
- Identify process gaps and propose efficiencies throughout the workflow; elevate to regional client lead as needed.
- Oversee QC and ingest into streamline, ensuring all output meets client requirements and is approved before final release.
- Deeply understand KPIs and ensure they are met.
- Manage day‑to‑day projects, conduct performance reviews, and keep the team engaged and motivated.
Key Skills
- 7‑10 years of experience in Production, Account Service or Project Management within marketing/advertising agencies.
- Creative agency and client management experience.
- Ability to handle challenging situations and act appropriately.
- Familiar with broadcast software and programs (Adobe, Microsoft, Google).
- Strong collaborative interpersonal communication skills.
- Pharma/Consumer health care experience a plus.
- Experience working in complex environments and navigating multi‑level partners.
- Committed to high‑quality output and service, with an eye for detail.
- Resourceful/solutions oriented.
- Pro‑active.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Confident in verbal and written communications with add valuable input at client meetings.
