We’re hiring a freelance SEO Account Director to lead AI-driven SEO strategy for a global media agency.
You will help shape the future strategy of this client through uncovering the existing AI search landscape, using the latest AI tools and delivering insights that will help transform SEO performance and client growth. If you’ve already been operating at Director level and thrive on innovation, strategy, and collaboration — this one’s for you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and evolve SEO strategy with a strong AI integration focus
- Deliver AI-led audits, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Create and refine AI prompts and workflows for LLM-based tools
- Turn AI-powered data into clear, actionable SEO decisions
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in a Director-level SEO role (agency or client-side)
- Strong understanding of AI tools, LLMs, and AI-led SEO workflows
- Experience leading full-cycle AI audits and developing strategy
- Confident with tools like Profound, Brandlight, BrightEdge, Trajaan, AccuRanker
- Excellent presentation skills; proven ability to build clear and engaging slides that communicate insights and strategies to non-technical audience
- Bonus: experience with AI-powered SEO reporting
