The role of Management Accountant at Publicis Groupe incorporates the following:
- Month End
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for Publicis Groupe UK HQ entity, across all revenue and cost aspects.
- Preparing and posting payroll journal.
- Review of all cost variances vs previous years, latest forecast and budget.
- Responsibility of balance sheet and TWC working closely with the Financial Controller and the Shared Service Centre (‘SSC’).
- Supporting with all Groupe reporting requests (flash, short-term-forecast, variance analysis, other).
- Forecasting / Budget
- Assisting with the annual budget & periodic forecasting processes, including liaison with relevant stakeholders & upload of budget/forecasts into HFM (Groupe reporting tool).
- Revenue and payroll forecasting, review and reconciliation.
- Monthly P&L rolling forecast preparation.
- Other
- PSA / P11D submissions.
- Adherence to Groupe FMC policies and reporting – all aspects of finance including revenue.
- Daily liaison with Re:Sources (shared service centre, SSC).
- Supporting UK HQ with all finance related queries.
- Ensuring that all reporting requirements are submitted in a timely manner, in line with Groupe deadlines.
- Ad-hoc projects as required.
Job Key Skills / Attributes
- Studying towards CIMA or ACCA qualification.
- Resilience and good at working under time pressure.
- Ability to multi-task and connect the management account transactions back to the business.
- Good organisational skills and an eye for detail.
- SAP + HFM experience (would be beneficial).
