Overview: We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Global Performance Business Director to lead our Samsung media account, driving significant growth and innovation through Search, Performance Max (PMax), the Google ecosystem, and the broader digital landscape. This pivotal leadership role demands a visionary thinker, an inspirational leader, and a technical expert capable of translating complex data into impactful, strategic action.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Vision & Leadership: Develop and implement holistic, full-funnel performance media strategies across Search, PMax, YouTube, Programmatic, Social, and E-commerce, aligned with Samsung's global business objectives.
- Client Partnership: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior clients in South Korea, the US, and European markets, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring alignment between media strategies and business outcomes.
- Team Management & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing, London-based team of Search Strategy and Insights specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- AI Innovation & Adoption: Champion the adoption of AI-powered solutions across media planning, creative testing, optimization, and reporting, driving automation and enhancing campaign performance.
- Channel Expertise & Technical Oversight: Provide strategic guidance and oversight for Google Ads, SA360, Performance Max, YouTube, DV360, and Meta, while maintaining a working knowledge of TikTok, programmatic DSPs, and emerging platforms.
- Data-Driven Storytelling & Communication: Distill complex data sets into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation: Serve as a thought leader within the agency and the industry, contributing to knowledge-sharing, best practice development, and the advancement of performance media strategies.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation across campaigns, maximizing ROI and achieving business targets.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in digital media and performance marketing, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing large accounts and teams.
- Deep expertise in Search, PMax, SA360, DV360, YouTube, and strong proficiency across Meta, Programmatic DSPs, and e-commerce platforms.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful performance media strategies that drive significant business growth.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of ad tech, analytics, and measurement tools (GA4, CM360, attribution models).
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams, fostering innovation, and driving AI-powered performance solutions.
- Experience managing large budgets and delivering against revenue and profitability targets.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
