As our data proposition matures, the Creative Intelligence Strategist will serve as the critical “translator” at the heart of our Intelligent Content offer, turning performance, creative, and media metrics into actionable content strategies and compelling narratives. This is a highly visible, client-facing role that sits at the intersection of data science, creative strategy, and production intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Insight
- Serve as the primary translator between data and creative strategy, turning complex performance and creative metrics into clear, actionable content recommendations.
- Develop and maintain data frameworks that connect production, creative, and media datasets into a unified Intelligent Content intelligence layer.
- Analyse competitive landscapes, platform trends, and emerging content formats to inform pitch narratives and strategic recommendations.
- Identify patterns, opportunities, and performance levers across creative and media data to guide content strategy decisions.
- Pitch & New Business Support
- Lead the data and insight workstream on new business pitches and capability demos, providing compelling, evidence-led narratives that differentiate Publicis Production’s Intelligent Content proposition.
- Lead the data and insight response to RFI and RFP submissions, translating client data and business objectives into compelling, evidence-led narratives that demonstrate the value of Intelligent Content.
- Ensure that client-specific data challenges, measurement frameworks, and KPIs are thoroughly understood and accurately reflected in capability demonstrations, pitch materials, and proposed solution architectures.
- Build and present data-driven case studies, industry benchmarks, and creative performance stories for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the growth team to develop thought leadership, insight reports, and positioning materials that demonstrate the value of data-informed production.
- Support handover to Product Strategy and Client Success teams during client transition, ensuring data strategy is embedded into ongoing delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Creative Directors, Creative Technologists, and Integrated Producers to craft content strategies informed by data.
- Partner with Growth, Technology, Product, and Client Service teams to align data outputs with business objectives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on creative data platforms, including our proprietary content platform, CreativeX, and Adge, and advocate for their integration into production workflows.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Intelligent Content proposition by providing real-world usage feedback, identifying product improvement opportunities, and shaping how our capabilities are communicated internally and externally.
- Reporting & Data
- Build and maintain reporting outputs using Power BI, connecting to data sources across creative, production, and media datasets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and documentation standards are upheld across all insight deliverables.
- Work with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and GCP/Azure environments to access and interrogate data.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with developments in creative data platforms, AI-powered analytics, and content measurement methodologies.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data processes, tooling, and insight delivery.
- Contribute to building a data-informed culture within the Product Strategy and Client Success team and broader Publicis Production network.
Qualifications
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a data strategy, creative intelligence, or performance analytics role, ideally within an agency, production house, or creative technology environment.
- Demonstrable experience working with creative data platforms such as CreativeX, Adge, Vidmob or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of creative, production, and media datasets, and how they interconnect.
- Experience supporting pitches, new business processes, or capability demonstrations in a data or insight capacity.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery and/or PostgreSQL for data querying and analysis.
- Proficiency in Power BI or equivalent data visualisation tools for executive-level reporting.
- Working knowledge of cloud data platforms including GCP and/or Azure.
- Experience with Python, ETL pipelines, APIs, or Databricks is desirable but not essential.
