We are seeking a Partner-level commerce leader to join our Publicis LeOne team, servicing Haleon across the UK and key European markets. This senior role brings together UK Retail Media leadership with EU5 strategic oversight across France, Germany, Italy, Spain and GB, acting as the senior point of contact for Retail Media and Retail Operations in the UK while driving an integrated âOneEUâ approach.
The role is responsible for aligning ways of working, ad-tech adoption, measurement and optimisation across markets, with a strong focus on lower-funnel excellence, particularly Amazon Ads and Retail Operations, underpinned by data-led planning, advanced retail media technology and continuous test-and-learn innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead commerce delivery as the senior Retail Media and Retail Operations lead, owning strategy, planning, activation, optimisation and reporting
- Drive lower-funnel performance across Amazon Ads, fully integrated with core media and retail operations, supported by Skai, AMC, Vendor Central and Profitero
- Own annual retail media planning and ensure delivery against Client Charter standards, financial governance and proof of delivery
- Lead EU5 âOneEUâ commerce strategy, aligning markets on ways of working, ad-tech adoption, performance âGolden Rules,â measurement frameworks and growth cadences
- Set and govern EU5 retail media and Amazon playbooks, including ASIN prioritisation, AMC audiences, bidding guardrails, portfolio strategies and NTB-led budget optimisation
- Oversee retail operations across Amazon and key EU5 partners, ensuring end-to-end catalogue and content excellence
- Lead the EU5 TestâLearnâScale roadmap and learning agenda, scaling best practice through shared playbooks and case studies
- Maintain senior stakeholder relationships and drive internal alignment across commerce, retail media, strategy, solutions and planning teams
Qualifications
- Senior leadership in commerce/retail media with ownership of multiâmarket scopes and consistent growth delivery
- Deep expertise across Amazon vendor/seller models, retail media activation (onsite search/display, DSP, offsite), and the interplay with retail operation
- Proficiency with Skai, Profitero (digital shelf & ShelfâIntelligent Media), and AMC
- Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting) and pipeline discipline; familiarity with pricing frameworks
- Experience building capability programmes and testing frameworks; adept at change management across matrixed stakeholders
- Excellent communication and senior stakeholder management; trusted advisor to client and internal leadership
