Publicis Imagine is a bespoke team dedicated to Disney with one purpose in mind – to be Disney’s most valuable partner in creating the next era of entertainment. This newly built organisation will sit under the umbrella of Publicis Media, tapping into all areas of Publicis Groupe capability, including our newest acquisition, Epsilon. We will be dedicated to Disney’s four lines of business: Disney+, Studios, Media networks, Disneyland Parks and Walt Disney World.

The Publicis Imagine team has been designed to be simple, agile and connected, with access to the latest innovations in media to accelerate Disney’s growth around the world. Data is at the core of Publicis Imagine’s offering. Our data ecosystem, supercharged by Epsilon, will be the end-to-end platform focused on driving growth. We do this by uncovering data-driven insights that inform marketing, creative messaging and media decisions.

We will look to connect all aspects of Disney’s business to unlock growth with each of their consumers from any line of business. Publicis Imagine will be active across the globe, with the hub for EMEA based here at White City in London. We are Disney fanatics and have created a unique UK and EMEA hybrid team to deliver not only excellence in market, but also be the guiding light for the region when it comes to planning.

THE CLIENT

Publicis Imagine is our “Power of One” solution for Disney, a custom-built team created with one purpose in mind – to be Disney’s most valuable partner in creating the next era of entertainment. Like Disney, we are organised under two pillars: Disney Entertainment (Disney+, Studios, Networks) and Disney Experiences (Parks and Cruises, Consumer Products and Games). Our London-based EMEA & UK team comprises c. 100 people, who are dedicated to Disney’s business, and supported by local teams in 27 markets across the EMEA region.

THE ROLE

Publicis Media is actively seeking an Associate Director as a maternity cover/12 month FTC to work across one of our most exciting clients, Disney, across Experiences UK & EMEA (Parks and Cruises more specifically). Reporting into one Business Director you will work across the media output for Disney Parks and Cruises in the UK and EMEA markets.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Lead in the day-to-day tasks for Planning & Account Management.
  • Help project manage and collaborate closely with Investment, Audience & Insights, Offline and Digital teams to plan and activate campaigns both in the UK and across EMEA.
  • Supervise and direct the team pulling together competitive analysis and reporting, using data to fuel insights and recommendations for the client.
  • Manage the team in using research tools to help support in strategic campaign responses across EMEA.
  • Work with your Manager, Snr Exec and Execs taking client briefs, creating, and reviewing plans, as well as presenting back to clients.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of projects including Media Guidelines, Monthly Reports, Demand reports, and any ad-hoc requests.
  • Be an excellent storyteller; shape strong responses and confidently present to key Disney stakeholders.
  • Be an active participant in helping build the Publicis Imagine team and culture, contribute back to the agency via broader Publicis Media participation – present in planners meetings, sharing knowledge, etc.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a media agency, either in a local market planning role or regional/EMEA roles.
  • Strong UK cross-channel media planning background with focus on AV, TV and digital.
  • Collaborative mindset and approach.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
  • Confident presenting to both internal staff & clients.
  • Have a strong opinion, bring new ideas to the table and make an impact on our business.
  • Strong media planning skills required.
  • Excellent 360 communication skills; a clear communicator who can build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Critical thinker; someone who is not afraid to challenge assumptions.
  • Excellent storyteller; shape strong data driven responses.
  • Confident presenter; be able to clearly and concisely present responses to key Disney stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel and PPT skills required.
  • Effective line manager who has the ability to nurture and develop the team.
