Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an Editor/Motion operator to create online and social content exclusively for our agency partners. You\’ll take footage from shoot to master, with a strong focus on editing for social platforms—including motion graphics, sound mixing, and basic colour grading—while using your knowledge of social trends and best practice.
With a focus on social output; the role also involves reworking existing content and collaborating closely with agency social teams, creatives, and our in-house social content team. You\’ll support Social Content Directors and shooters on post-production, contribute creative input, and help turn around reactive, agile content.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be a first-class creative editor with a strong flair for visual storytelling.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of social content trends, audience engagement and best practice across all platforms
- Collaborate with creatives and client teams to produce social-first films with short turnarounds.
- Work at pace with a flexible, contemporary editing style across diverse social content.
- Enhance influencer-created content in post-production.
- Work directly with client and manage multiple projects simultaneously with confidence.
- Work well under pressure with strong communication skills.
Experience
- Experience in a social agency or film production environment working as either a social editor or a motion designer.
- Be a proficient, stylistic, and confident hands-on social creator.
- Confident with creative freedom and autonomy; prioritise and self-manage time efficiently.
- Well versed in Adobe CC, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control of assets
- Skilled in creative editing and storytelling.
Secondary experience
- Colour grading and sound mixing.
- On-set editing when required.
- Design capabilities.
