Media Data Analyst
In this role, you’ll help turn media campaign data into clear insight, stronger decisions and measurable value for clients.
You’ll work across media performance, reporting, experimentation and automation, with the opportunity to explore how AI and measurement approaches can improve the way teams plan, optimise and tell stories with data.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting technical detail with practical recommendations that help brands grow.
Responsibilities
- Analyse campaign performance across media platforms, helping teams understand what is working, where performance can improve and how activity is tracking against key KPIs.
- Turn data into useful insight by identifying trends, audience behaviours, optimisation opportunities and the reasons behind performance changes.
- Support measurement thinking across areas such as MMM, MTA and incrementality, helping shape how planning, buying and reporting are evaluated.
- Build and improve reporting outputs, including Power BI dashboards and regional reporting, so internal teams and clients can make decisions with confidence.
- Use automation to make data processes more reliable and efficient, including extraction, transformation and reporting workflows.
- Translate analysis into clear recommendations for media planning, campaign optimisation, targeting and budget decisions.
- Collaborate with planners, strategists, account teams and clients to define measurement frameworks, collect the right data and shape compelling data narratives.
Qualifications
- Experience in a data analysis role, ideally connected to media, advertising, marketing or campaign performance.
- A good understanding of media terminology and performance metrics, such as CTR, conversion rate, viewability, attribution, paid search, paid social, display, video or CTV.
- Confidence working with measurement approaches such as MMM, MTA or incrementality, and an ability to adapt frameworks for different client needs.
- Practical technical skills for data extraction, manipulation and automation, with Python experience particularly useful.
- Experience using data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio or similar platforms.
- Curiosity about media analytics, AI and new ways to improve insight, automation and decision-making.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical findings in an accessible way and create data stories that support action.
