Company description
Who we are Langland, a Publicis Health company, is the only health communications agency that thinks further across Clinical Trial Experience, Medical Strategy & Education, Public Relations & Policy, and Advertising, to create unique value with visionary clients.
What we believe Health brings us together. In the diseases we suffer, the medicines we create, and the causes we champion, health shows us our collective humanity. When we break the barriers that divide us, when we think further, we can create healthier futures, together.
A passion for craft Having expert thinking is only part of our story. To ensure excellence in everything we make, we have centred our disciplines around three essential crafts: science, strategy and creativity.
Overview We believe that people are the most valuable asset of any clinical trial. Where others see subjects and protocols, we think further. We see real lives, and craft ideas, words and actions to turn an uncertain journey into a human experience. We partner with our clients across the whole trial journey, thinking further at every step across three key business areas:
- Participant Recruitment
- Participant Engagement
- Site Engagement
To date, we’ve supported over 800 clinical trials in more than 290 conditions over 75 countries, helping to convert over 500,000 patients to a clinical trial at a time when they need it most. All materials we create are translated and rolled-out in each country supporting the clinical trial. The nature of CTE means that every day is different - we never know what brief will come through the door next. But we do know that we’ll have the chance to play a role in bringing a potential new treatment to market. That’s a pretty meaningful way to spend a day at work, right?
Responsibilities As a CTE Content Writer, you will work in collaboration with the broader team to:
- Develop clear, compelling and user-friendly content from receipt of brief through to project delivery with little guidance or oversight
- Develop primarily patient and caregiver facing content for various platforms, (e.g., websites, brochures and content engagement plans)
- Focus on providing valuable information to the audience, enhancing engagement and their understanding
- Develop and own templated content documents for key study materials at both a business and client level
- Develop and own client level style guides to aid future content development
- Develop a good understanding of relevant codes of practice and ensure all content is compliant
- Supply marked-up supporting references (when needed) to substantiate claims made in the copy for approval by clients
- Interact directly with clients as needed on content developed
- Ensure that internal systems & processes are adhered to at all times
- Keep all internal stakeholders informed of the progress of projects, especially if any issues arise that relate to timelines
- Foster good relationships with all internal departments and cross-functional teams
- Undertake any other task, deemed to be appropriate to this role, as directed by your People Manager or the Business Lead
Qualifications You’ll be able to demonstrate an interest in communications or clinical trials and be naturally passionate and curious about health. You’ll have proven experience of copywriting or content writing. You’ll be able to manage tight deadlines across projects. You’ll be alert to evolving dynamics in the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry, being able to constantly evaluate and create work in light of this. You will be curious and determined to find the best solution. You will have the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organisation. You will be able to develop strong relationships – based on exceptional verbal, as well as written, communication abilities – and be comfortable providing advice and guidance to others. You should have strong attention to detail and exemplary writing skills. You will be naturally creative, be able to write across a variety of styles and enjoy developing communications for audiences across channels.
