They are a genuinely unique business in terms of their structure and goals, meaning that most of the common objectives of an agency client – sales, revenue, margin – are infrequent considerations. Instead, they seek to ensure that the dominant position they hold within their market, the almost ubiquitous aspiration to ownership and their unique synonymity with excellence are sustained, not just for the sales quarter or the financial year, but for the very long term. This role requires exceptional communication and storytelling skills. They will confidently distil complex information into clear strategic narratives, facilitate discussions across senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships across client, channel and data teams to ensure alignment and clarity. The role will lead strategic thinking across key social platforms, primarily Meta and YouTube, while also contributing to strategic development across Asian-market platforms where appropriate. More broadly, the candidate will need a strong understanding of digital communications and brand strategy to ensure Social and YouTube recommendations support the client’s broader communications objectives.

- Partner closely with the Channel and Data teams to address business briefs with clear, evidence-based strategic responses.
- Ensure strategic recommendations are effectively translated into planning and activation through close partnership with Channel teams.
- Work with Data teams to interpret complex analysis in clear insights and recommendations.
- Partner with local market teams to connect global and local learnings, ensuring strategies are informed by regional insight while maintaining global consistency.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in digital strategy, particularly in Social.
- Exceptionally strong presentation and storytelling skills, who can simplify complex thinking for a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate experience across owned/earned/paid social through content, community, paid media.
- Comfortable working with complex data and using it to tell a clear strategic story.
