Overview

We are hiring a Data & Tech Director to shape audience strategy and guide data and technology transformation for a major global client across pet nutrition, food and snacking. You will be a trusted senior partner to the client, translating global direction into practical regional roadmaps that help brands understand, build and connect with valuable audiences. This is an opportunity to combine technical expertise with outstanding client leadership, influencing work across multiple markets and a diverse portfolio of well-known brands. You will join a collaborative team exploring new possibilities across identity, audience intelligence, data and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of regional data and technology roadmaps, aligning client priorities, global direction and local market needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, turning complex data and technology topics into clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Shape audience strategies that support sustainable growth, using data and identity to help brands identify, understand and engage the right audiences.
  • Adapt global audience frameworks for regional and market use, providing clear guidance that enables effective local activation without owning media planning or execution.
  • Advise the client on identity, data partnerships, audience technology and planning tools, ensuring solutions address strategic marketing challenges.
  • Collaborate with planning, strategy, data science, analytics and market teams to embed audience thinking throughout the client’s planning processes.
  • Lead and support members of the Data & Technology team, creating clarity around priorities and helping colleagues deliver connected, high-quality client work.

Qualifications

Skills we're looking for:

  • Strong client leadership skills, with experience advising senior stakeholders and building trusted, collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrable experience creating strategic roadmaps and bringing different teams together to turn direction into action.
  • A strong understanding of audience strategy, identity and the use of first-party, second-party and partner data to support growth.
  • Sound knowledge of the digital media, martech and adtech landscape, with the ability to communicate technical subjects clearly to varied audiences.
  • Familiarity with audience and planning platforms such as Epsilon, Lotame, Growth OS or scenario-planning tools, or experience with comparable technology.
  • An understanding of taxonomy, its role in connected planning and the principles required to support effective governance.
  • A curious and pragmatic approach, with the confidence to navigate complex organisations, guide new ways of working and lead through collaboration.
