The role supports the global production commercial function in achieving its goals with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the Global Production commercial team, client service community, technology and operations teams to drive profitable growth through innovative financial proposals for new and existing clients, financial management and governance, and strong stakeholder relationships.

We are seeking a senior hands-on commercial finance leader with deep expertise in technology driven business models to lead the commercial strategy for Global Production's technology and platform offerings. The role owns the end-to-end commercial and financial framework for complex technology solutions, including SaaS like platforms, data products, automation, AI enabled services and managed service models. This position goes beyond RFP support, acting as a strategic advisor and commercial architect, shaping how Publicis Production prices, structures, governs and scales its global technology propositions while balancing growth, margin, risk and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Commercial Leadership - Technology & Platforms: Partner with the head of product Strategy to define and lead the global commercial strategy for technology enabled production solutions, including platforms, tools, automation and data-driven services. Shape scalable pricing frameworks, commercial constructs and margin models that support global adoption and long-term client partnerships. Act as a senior commercial advisor to Global Production and Technology leadership on investment decisions, product roadmap trade-offs and market strategy.
  • Complex RFP / Deal Architecture: Own and lead the commercial and financial design of high value, multimarket, technology-led RFPs and RFIs, ensuring competitive differentiation and commercial robustness. Structure complex commercial models (managed services, platform licensing, consumption-based pricing, hybrid models). Partner closely with Legal to assess contractual structures, commercial risk, scalability and long-term profitability.
  • Technology Cost & Investment Economics: Provide deep expertise in technology cost structures, including platform build vs buy, licensing, hosting, tooling, automation and data costs. Develop robust business cases and ROI models to support technology investment, product development and global rollout decisions. Ensure transparency and governance around cost allocation, cross market usage and value realisation.
  • Performance, Governance & Insight: Define and own global financial performance frameworks for technology initiatives, including KPIs, margin tracking and value creation metrics. Deliver clear, senior level financial insight and recommendations to executive stakeholders, translating complexity into actionable decision-making. Drive continuous improvement through win/loss analysis, commercial performance reviews and post-implementation assessments.
  • Leadership & Cross Functional Influence: Act as a bridge between Finance, Technology, Product, Operations and Client teams, aligning commercial outcomes with operational reality. Influence senior stakeholders across regions and disciplines without direct authority, establishing credibility as a trusted commercial leader. Contribute to the development of global commercial standards, governance processes and capability uplift across the organisation.

Key skills

  • Significant senior level experience in commercial finance, ideally within technology-led, SaaS platform-led or digital service organisations.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, high value commercial deals and global RFPs.
  • Strong understanding of technology and platform economics, including pricing, margin management and scalability.
  • Advanced financial modelling and commercial structuring capability.
  • Extensive experience partnering with Legal on contracts, risk management and long-term commercial frameworks.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate confidently at executive level.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis expertise.
  • Strategic, commercially minded and intellectually curious about technology and innovation.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and influencing across a complex global matrix.
  • Highly organised, proactive and outcome-focused.
  • Culturally sensitive with strong emotional intelligence.
  • Willing to work flexibly across time zones.
