Epsilon is seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our UK Finance team. This is a developmental FP&A role for someone with around one to two years of relevant finance experience who is studying towards a relevant professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA). You will support the UK planning, forecasting and reporting cycle, build your commercial understanding and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. You will be supported as you develop your FP&A skills, strengthen your technical capability, and grow in confidence as a finance business partner.

The role will suit someone who is curious, organised and comfortable working with detail, while also wanting to understand the commercial story behind the numbers. This is a hybrid role based in our London office (4 days per week).

Success in this Role

  • You become a trusted member of the UK Finance team, known for producing accurate work, asking thoughtful questions and helping colleagues understand the story behind the numbers.
  • Budgets, forecasts and management reports are delivered accurately and on time, with clear variance commentary and well-maintained supporting data.
  • UK leaders have dependable visibility of business performance and can make decisions with greater confidence.
  • Through stronger reporting, careful analysis and continued process improvement, the FP&A team benefits from better-quality information, more efficient ways of working and increasingly reliable forecasts.
  • You make consistent progress with your professional studies and build the technical, commercial and stakeholder-management skills needed to take on greater responsibility.

What You’ll Achieve

  • Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and longer-term plans for the UK business.
  • Produce regular management reporting and help ensure outputs are accurate, clear, and delivered on time.
  • Analyse actual performance against budget and forecast, investigate variances and help prepare concise commentary.
  • Maintain and improve financial models, reporting templates, and supporting data sets.
  • Track relevant financial measures and business KPIs, highlighting trends or areas that require further review.
  • Work with budget owners and Finance colleagues to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and resolve queries.
  • Support the incentive compensation calculation process, including data preparation, checks, and reporting.
  • Assist with period-end activities and ad hoc analysis for the UK leadership and Finance teams.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives across FP&A.
  • Support other Finance projects and priorities as required.

Who You Are

  • At least one to two years of relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, commercial finance or a similar finance role.
  • Currently studying CIMA/ACCA and typically in the first or second year of the qualification.
  • A good grounding in core accounting and financial analysis, with an interest in developing a career in FP&A.
  • Solid Excel skills, including confidence working with formulas, reconciliations and structured data; experience with larger data sets is helpful.
  • Good attention to detail, with a methodical approach to checking data and meeting deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to ask questions and build effective working relationships.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to take ownership, learn, and solve problems.
  • Experience with finance, CRM, ERP, or analytics systems would be useful. Examples may include SAP, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Power BI, but experience with other relevant platforms is equally welcome.

Why you might stand out:

  • Experience within AdTech, MarTech, Media, Data, SaaS, or digital marketing businesses.
