As an SEO Content Manager, you'll own website content strategy and planning for one or more flagship accounts – Kenvue. Reporting to the SEO Director, you'll blend editorial leadership with SEO expertise – crafting data‑driven content roadmaps that meet E‑E‑A‑T standards, satisfy Google's Helpful Content requirements, and deliver on KPIs for traffic, engagement and conversions. You'll shape topic clusters, pilot AI‑assisted content workflows and collaborate with SEO, Paid and CRO teams to ensure our owned channels delight both users and search engines. You will manage a small team of Copywriters, oversee content production calendars, and champion best practices in on‑page optimisation, internal linking and structured data. By monitoring performance through analytics tools, you'll continuously refine your strategy – balancing creative storytelling with precise, evidence‑backed recommendations to keep our clients ahead of algorithm shifts and emerging content formats.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and own multi‑quarter editorial calendars and topic cluster frameworks that align with client objectives, user intent and search demand.
- E‑E‑A‑T & Helpful Content Compliance: Establish and enforce guidelines for Experience‑Expertise‑Authority‑Trust signals and Google's Helpful Content standards across all assets.
- Data‑Driven Ideation: Use analytics (GA4, Search Console, Keyword Planner) and SEO tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, Similarweb) to uncover high‑impact content opportunities, perform gap analyses, and prioritise initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Line‑manage and mentor Copywriters, providing editorial guidance, SEO training and performance feedback.
- Cross‑Channel Collaboration: Partner with SEO Managers, Paid Search, Social and CRO teams to integrate content into wider performance campaigns and test new formats (e.g., AI‑driven snippets, voice search optimisation).
- Content Production Oversight: Oversee briefs, ensure on‑page SEO best practices (metadata, headings, schema), and maintain quality through reviews and QA processes.
- Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, build dashboards, track metrics (organic traffic, dwell time, conversion rate), and deliver client‑ready reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications
- Experience: Prior content or SEO experience in an agency or in‑house environment, with hands‑on success driving organic growth via content.
