Overview

We are looking for an Audience Manager (6 month FTC) to work within our global central Hub team, The Engine, and be part of a freshly formed team, delivering excellent digital marketing.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to \’hit the ground running\’, and for the most part be able to manage their workstream autonomously.

The successful candidate will have proven experience managing audience data, either within a DMP or through programmatic activation and feel comfortable defining and implementing data-driven marketing use cases.

Your ability to multitask and feed into Essity\’s overall digital strategy, planning, activation, and operations are second to none and will be called upon every day, as you empower Essity\’s Audience Strategy with strategic knowledge and insights from the industry as a whole.

An eye for detail, and an ability to contribute to best practices and processes will be key. As this is a global role, with remit across multiple markets, training and sharing these best practices will be fundamental to the role, focusing on bringing a new way of approaching audience management.

Responsibilities

This role will support the Engine and Essity\’s overall data-enabled solutions and services by deploying audience and personalisation solutions across Essity\’s digital channels.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work across 25+ markets with a large Engine team which is involved in all elements of Essity\’s digital advertising.

You will be involved in:

  • Provide day-to-day strategic and operational support for the management of Essity DMP, CDP and clean room solutions (e.g. use case design, audience framework, platform integration, data analysis, etc).
  • Advise on Taxonomy strategy of DMP/CDP Audience segments. What nodes need to be created for example and define, implement, and govern audience taxonomy and usage.
  • Be the day-to-day technical contact for technical client questions/requirements.
  • Have thoughtful, detailed and consultative approach and have a working understanding of how data is leveraged in all biddable media environments.
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings with the client and internal team.
  • Provide support for in-platform audience segment creation and activation for use on display and video campaigns. Identify best practices and use cases when planning and buying audiences
  • Forecasting and sizing of 1PD opportunities
  • Support with media activation for display and video activity through defining audience activation budgets, testing match rates and developing creative strategy for audience segments being activated.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to tagging, activation, and reporting for CDP-activated campaigns
  • Hands-on management of Essity audience inventories as they exist in various technologies (Essity CDP, Google Marketing Platform, The Trade Desk, and other rising platforms) to support with 2nd and 3rd party partner/audience integrations when required.
  • Plan, propose, create, and provision bespoke audiences to internal activation and planning team members in support of their online campaigns and analysis efforts;
  • Support regular campaign reporting from DSPs, Campaign Manager, and dashboards to generate audience insights and contribute to overall CDP performance evaluation; focusing on the individual or collective performance of Essity 1st and 2nd party audiences against 3rd party audiences
  • Support on data-driven marketing strategy and operational support i.e. Formulate new audience playbooks where operational efficiency can be had, and evolve existing playbooks where adjustments are needed.

Qualifications

You will have:

  • Strong level of experience and understanding in AdOps, AdServers, media buying activation platforms and DMPs
  • Proactive
  • High attention to detail, organised and efficient
  • Passionate about working in digital advertising
  • A strong communicator
  • Technically minded
  • Strong knowledge and experience in one of these fields: programmatic activation, site tagging, management of a DMP and/or CDP, website or app analytics.
  • Candidate has worked in a role that requires hands-on usage of AdTech or MarTech, ideally with practical operation and implementation.
  • Experience in managing workflows between hub and markets.
  • Possesses a engaging personality and can interact with senior/executive level client contacts.
  • Be comfortable delivering work to a senior audience and be a self-motivated operator.
  • Experience with articulating complex technical content to large groups in a coherent, accessible and inspiring way.
