A critical role within the Finance team, the Commercial Finance Analyst assists the Commercial Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the commercial processes in the organization, handle day to day business analysis reporting, manage account leads, and recognize business opportunities. Strong technical, communication, and accuracy are key requirements.
Responsibilities
- To support Commercial Assistant Finance Manager on regular revenue reviews with account leads, and also support management by providing financial & commercial analysis for each client account.
- Tracking the overall client financial health β Revenue, Cost, Profitability etc.
- Ensure compliance of client revenue recognition policies and guidelines.
- Assist in revenue budgeting and reporting procedures, ensuring that the numbers are reliable, stable and accurate.
- Working with internal and external auditors, ensuring policies compliance in place.
- Ensure that all management reports submitted within deadline.
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to be carried out with high accuracy and timeliness and developing process to ensure quality reporting variances to be fully explained.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience and ideally in Advertising/Entertainment industry.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage all levels of the organisation with credibility.
- Strong Business acumen with commercial focus and knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams.
- Systems knowledge: Starscape (Media Billing System), SAP, Hyperion-HFM (reporting system), Powerpoint, Excel will be an advantage.
