Overview: As the Transcreation Account Director – Pharma clients for the Medical Division at translate plus – a Publicis Groupe, you will come from an advertising account director background with Transcreation experience and play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the operations of our medical translation services. This position requires a candidate with extensive experience in managing pharma clients, excellent communication skills, creative experience and a strong background in translation.
- Client Management: Manage and build relationships with pharmaceutical clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded; collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions; act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns and escalations.
- Operations Management: Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Medical Division, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient delivery of services; develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, quality and best practice; monitor project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure successful project completion; identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to drive operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of translators, project managers and other operational staff; foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth; provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring their adherence to quality standards and client requirements.
- Strategy: Troubleshoot and develop innovative solutions and strategies for the Medical Division; collaborate with the creative team to enhance the visual and interactive aspects of medical translation projects.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Translation, Life Sciences, Business Administration). Proven experience in managing pharma clients within the language services industry and a special focus on approval processes across all pharma divisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders. Strong background in translation, with a deep understanding of medical terminology and industry‑specific requirements. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
