Role Summary
The Director, Impact & Equity (EMEA) is a strategic leader responsible for advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the EMEA region in alignment with our global inclusion strategy. This role drives measurable impact by embedding inclusive practices into business operations, leveraging technology and AI to scale initiatives, and fostering cultural transformation. The Director partners with senior leadership, People & Talent teams, and community groups to ensure equity is integrated into organisational systems, leadership development, and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on inclusive leadership and cultural transformation. Lead the EMEA Inclusion Council and collaborate with global I&E (Impact & Equity) teams to ensure regional alignment with global priorities. Embed DEI principles into people lifecycle processes in partnership with People & Talent teams. Collaborate effectively across functions and geographies, demonstrating the ability to work in a dynamic and matrixed environment.
- Program Development & Implementation: Activate and execute the EMEA Inclusion Strategy, ensuring measurable outcomes and business alignment. Design and implement evidence-based interventions, policies, and programs that foster inclusion and equity. Utilise AI and emerging technologies to scale inclusion initiatives, enhance accessibility, and improve reporting.
- Data, Insights & Measurement: Develop and maintain a DEI metrics framework to track progress and inform strategic decisions. Analyse internal and external data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Change Management & Engagement: Drive organisational change through inclusive practices, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication. Oversee governance of community groups/Business Resource Groups (BRGs) and support volunteer leaders. Manage the EMEA Inclusion budget and participate in external benchmarking to strengthen organisational reputation.
