Overview
This is a hands-on studio role at the heart of production, supporting the people, tools, systems and workflows that keep everything running smoothly. You’ll provide hands-on technical support to our studio teams in London & Dublin, take ownership of core systems such as colour management and workflow automation & play an active role in shaping how our studio technology evolves over time. You’ll work closely with the Studio Director, IT Dept, Retouching, Digital and Motion ensuring the studio can work at speed with consistency and accuracy. You’ll also help us explore how AI and automation can support faster, more consistent delivery across studio workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day hands-on technical support for Studio IT systems, software and hardware (You’ll be based in London, but cover the Dublin team virtually)
- Manage and maintain our GMG colour management and proofing systems
- Contribute to the development of our project management, workflow and automation tools
- Support the testing and rollout of AI-assisted tools across creative, artwork and workflow automation, helping teams adopt best practice
- Explore and test new solutions and equipment as we continue to evolve
- Support Studio Director with font management and licensing
- First point of contact for IT and network support in the Dublin studio (with escalation to central IT where needed)
- Maintain clear technical documentation and workflows for shared use
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a Design Studio, Artwork/Production Studio or Prepress environment
- Strong understanding of Mac-based setups and common Studio hardware
- Working knowledge of colour management and proofing workflows
- Confident supporting Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with cloud storage, networking fundamentals and user/permission management
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with artwork automation or folder-based workflow systems
- Familiarity with motion or audio software (Premiere, Resolve, After Effects or similar)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools (e.g. Firefly, Nano Banana) or automation platforms (e.g. n8n, Zapier)
- Experience of G-Suite and the full range of Google products
- Experience supporting or setting up AV systems (Cisco/Poly or similar)
